Rehabilitation Our Care
Proper diet is a critical component to recovery. The on-staff Registered Dietitian reviews nutritional needs of the individual and works with the patient, therapist and nursing to develop an individualized dietary plan.
The occupational therapist (OT) specializes in skills recovering of daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming; activities that increase personal independence and self-care home management skills.
All nursing care is supervised by a Registered Nurse who is certified in the Rehabilitation Nursing. Services include pain management, patient education, medication management, wound care and restorative programs.
Social Services provide patient and family support during the recovery process. Assistance is provided with patient/family education, coordination of community resources and discharge planning.
The Speech/Language Pathologist (ST) evaluates and develops treatment plans to assist with communication, swallowing difficulties, problem solving and development of memory strategies.
